The Family Medicine Center is a combination of a physician group practice and a university-affiliated residency training program of Virtua. The dual role of the center is to provide comprehensive medical care for the entire family and to educate resident physicians in the specialty of family practice.
Physicians at the center care for patients in the tradition of the old time "family doctor" while using the most modern techniques and facilities available. Your family physician provides ongoing, comprehensive care for your entire family and coordinates all healthcare efforts on your behalf. Although your physician may consult other specialists for specific health problems, the responsibility for the supervision of your health care remains with your family physician.
Services include: pediatrics, general medicine, minor surgery, geriatrics, office gynecology, and individual and family counseling.
